- The article is new enough, long enough, well written, and well sourced. The hook statement itself is short enough, interesting, and properly sourced. Subject is clearly notable. Spot checking found no issues with copied text. One minor issue: the source and the hook both say that his patent record is for Indian scientists working in India, while the article itself says that it is for Indian scientists working outside the US; these are not the same. But because the hook matches the source, I don't think this should hold up DYK. Otherwise, good to go. —David Eppstein (talk) 00:21, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
